Land Rover will celebrate ties to UK royal family at Pebble Beach

The British royal family has been a loyal customer of Land Rover for many years. As Land Rover prepares to split into three entities, it will showcase 10 off-roaders built for British royalty at the 2024 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Putting together this display was a challenge as some vehicles are still owned by the royal family, while others are in private collections or owned by Land Rover’s Classic division. The oldest vehicle on display is a 1954 Series I State Review vehicle, used by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip during a tour of Australia. The newest SUV is a 2009 Range Rover, known to be Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite vehicle.

The collection also includes a 1966 Series IIa Station Wagon and a Range Rover used as a State Review vehicle from 1975 to 2002. The vehicles will be displayed together for the first time in the United States, with a British garden party to celebrate the occasion.

Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will take place on August 18, 2024.
